Great Lakes Special Events is proud to announce the 1st Annual Walleye and Wailing Guitars tournament! Jump on the boat and bring in some winning walleye then come down to weigh in with after party of awards, music, food trucks, skydiving, bagpipes and more. This is an event you don't want to miss so bring the whole family, listen to some wailing guitars, watch the walleye hit the stage, eat some great local food and see the great things the North East Marina has to offer!

Entry fee $115.00
$100 per team payback to 15% of the field

Winner by combined weight of best 3 walleye
$10 Bonus Event for Biggest Walleye, 100% payback
Fishing starts at 6:30am with all teams ready to weigh in by 12:30pm.

9AM - 11AM FREE KIDS FISHING
Join the SONS of Lake Erie for our free kids fishing tournament. Open to all kids ages 15 and under. Registration deadline August 15th, 2026 at Noon. Fishing equipment will be provided. Simply click the link below to complete our simple registration form. NOTE: Anyone that was signed up for the August 3rd, 2026 is automatically signed up for the new date of August 16th, 2026.

The music kicks off at 10am with live shows from Jake's Blues, Bagpipes featuring Deek Showman, Rick McGee and the Roadhouse Rockers, Occasional Blues and more!!
